is a minimum residency stay of eight days. This is to allow the local authorities
time to receive and process your application. On completion of the necessary paperwork
the bride and groom will be able to pick up their Marriage License, ready for
the wedding ceremony. You will need to have your passport with you, when picking
up the Marriage License. Greece & many Greek resorts provide a great location
to combine a great holiday with a fantastic wedding. Most of the weddings are
held in the islands of Santorini, Corfu, Mykonos and Rhodes where foreign weddings
are more common because they are such popular tourist destinations. Legally it
is relatively simple to marry in Greece but not as easy as 'Greek style' Cyprus
